Bill Phagan, President of Green Industry Consulting, Inc.,
Bill Phagan, President of Green Industry Consulting, Inc., has assisted hundreds in the green industry profession, from the small to the jumbo. He is a former IBM Sales Manager, former owner/operator of a 45 man landscape management company, a Florida State Certified Pest Control Operator and a Certified Landscape Manager with twenty years expertise in the profession. He has spoken to thousands of owners, managers and technicians in seminars and workshops, most recently as a guest speaker and panelist at the GIE, CLIP Expo in Maryland. He has also authored many books for our industry. Bill Phagan is also a contributing writer to "Mower Man", and "Grounds Maintenance". Our mission at GIC is simple and clear...." to educate green industry professionals about our industry , it's nuances, seasonality, labor issues, financial management, cash flow issues, horticulture, pesticides, profits or . . . whatever their educational needs are. Bob Kessler
Bob is a former owner/operator of a twelve person pest control business in south Florida. He is also a Florida State Certified Pest Control Operator in the areas of L&O, Indoor Pests and Termites. Bob entered the pest control profession in 1971 and recently sold his pest control business to concentrate on teaching and training. Bob is a past president of CPCO (Certified Pest Control Operators Assoc.) and has chaired many state educational committees as well as being a board member for pest control certification exams. He was recently appointed to the Florida State Pest Control Advisory Committee by Commissioner Bob Crawford. He is also a state approved educator for all pesticide categories for re-certification for PCO's as well as teaching the Limited Pesticide Applicators Course.

Brian Shatz
Brian Schatz is an instructor for various horticulture programs at the University Of South Florida in Tampa. Some classes include Xeriscaping, Practical Landscape Design, Plant Identification, Sustainable Landscapes as well as the Baywinds course. With Twenty four years of expertise, Brian has excelled as a landscape garden manager, landscape design/ constructor and horticulture educator. His knowledge is unsurpassed in our industry.

Bill Phagan, III
Bill Phagan, III is a Florida State Certified Pest Control Operator in the areas of Lawn and Ornamentals, Subterranean termites, Indoor Pests as well as Public Health Mosquito Control. Bill is also an approved educational provider in all areas stated above with the Florida Bureau of Entomology and Pest Control and provides CEUs and multiple classes in all topics related to pest control and horticulture and business issues with pest control companies.
Further, he has over seventeen years of expertise in the green industry and pest control profession. Starting at the prime age of thirteen, he worked during the summer as an employee with Green Images of Florida, Inc and performed multiple grounds management services on large commercial properties. During those summer years, he also was involved in irrigation systems, landscape design, landscaping and various other facets of grounds management services as well as managing a retail plant nursery and addressing customers questions about plant materials, fertilization and pest control requirements.
After graduating from high school in l992, he accepted a supervisory position with a large grounds management company in Tampa and oversaw the work of multiple personnel, again on high acreage commercial grounds. Two years thereafter, the pest control profession was beckoning and he joined High Tech Pest Control & Aquatics, Inc. as a service technician in the areas of Lawn & Ornamentals and Indoor Pest Control. Several years later, he was retained as the Operations Manager with a large pest control company in Tampa and oversaw all training and services that were required. This position afforded him the opportunity to gain new knowledge on all aspects of the pest control profession from the inside out, including business operations and improvements.
